Rua do Bonjardim is just a short walk from some of Porto's key central areas. It’s close to Marquês de Pombal Square, a well-known area with excellent transportation links. The iconic Avenida dos Aliados, Porto's central boulevard, is also not far from this area, offering access to grand buildings, cafes, and the city's administrative heart. This neighborhood has a mix of residential and commercial spaces, with small local shops, bakeries, cafes, and traditional restaurants. The area has retained much of its historic charm, with narrow streets and older buildings mixed with modern renovations. You’ll find a variety of grocery stores, pharmacies, and other conveniences nearby, making it a well-equipped spot for residents and visitors. Being located in Porto, you're never far from cultural hotspots. The nearby Rua de Santa Catarina is one of Porto’s most famous shopping streets, home to the Majestic Café, a beautiful historic cafe, as well as many international and local stores. The Bolhão Market is also nearby, a lively traditional market where locals buy fresh produce, meats, and fish. The area is close to several small parks and gardens. The Jardim Teófilo Braga (also known as Praça da República) is a short walk away, providing a peaceful green space for a break from the city. The more expansive Jardins do Palácio de Cristal is a bit farther but is worth visiting for its beautiful views over the Douro River and landscaped gardens. Rua do Bonjardim is well-served by Porto’s public transportation. Several metro stations, including Marquês and Faria Guimarães, are easily accessible from this address, and there are bus lines running frequently through the area. This makes it convenient to reach other parts of the city, including the Ribeira district along the Douro River or the famous Port wine cellars in Vila Nova de Gaia. The area around Rua do Bonjardim is residential but lively, with a mix of older local residents and younger people moving into the area. It’s quieter than the tourist-heavy areas closer to the Ribeira, but it still has a great deal of character. It's an excellent place for those who enjoy experiencing local life.

- Building The apartment is located on the first floor of a building situated in a historic area of Porto. Clad in traditional tiles, it embodies the region’s charming architecture! This area is known for its narrow, picturesque streets, so be sure to explore on foot and experience the authentic Porto lifestyle. The building does not have an elevator, with access to the apartment via a beautiful and sturdy wooden staircase. Don’t forget to appreciate the skylight detail in the building! Compact yet cozy, this 28-square-meter apartment features simple, modern decor, with earthy tones that harmonize perfectly with the granite wall. - Living Room It offers a sofa, TV, air conditioning, and a dining table for 2 people. The large French doors open onto a welcoming balcony, perfect for a peaceful morning start! - Balcony A pleasant balcony with a dining table and a view of a backyard at the rear of the building. - Kitchenette Equipped with a stove, microwave, mini-fridge, Dulce Gusto coffee machine (capsules not included), and a toaster. - Bedroom The apartment features an interior bedroom (without windows) with a double bed. Please note that the bedroom is quite small and does not have AC. - Bathroom Bathroom equipped with a rain-shower. - Laundry The apartment has a washing machine and a drying rack, along with an 80L water heater. We recommend paying attention to the length of showers to ensure there is enough hot water. Once the tank is empty, the heater will require some time to restore the hot water supply.

Complimentary basic items are provided for your arrival, including first-day toiletries, toilet paper, etc. These items are offered on a welcome basis only - replacements or re-fills are not provided. ￫ Bed and bath linen are provided according to the number of guests confirmed in the reservation. For stays longer than 7 nights, additional bed and bath linen will be provided for free at the check-in. ￫ The Cleaning Fee included in your reservation covers the check-out cleaning only. Extra cleanings or fresh linens can be requested during your stay and are subject to an extra fee - these requests must be done with at least 24 hours in advance. ￫ Check-in time starts from 16:00 to 22:00 (additional cost of 25€ for check-ins after 22:00). Only one set of keys will be provided. ￫ We are obligated by Portuguese law to collect our guest's Passport information. ￫ Check-out must be done until 11am. Before leaving, please place the keys on the main table. ￫ During the stay, the guest is responsible for the safekeeping and proper use of the property's keys. Please avoid leaving them in the lock or mailbox. In the event that a specialized technician is needed for door opening or in case of damage to the key and/or lock, the costs associated with this service will be the responsibility of the guest.
